WordPress 3.5 Passes 1 Million Downloads

In just over 72 hours WordPress 3.5 reached over 1 million downloads. Another record breaking release for the super popular content platform. How long before it reaches 2 million? Keep an eye on it yourself on the WordPress Download Counter.

I’ve already updated most of my sites to WordPress 3.5 and could not believe how easy it was. A few plugins (like WooCommerce) caused some very minor issues, however most are already being updated to fix any minor bugs. This is a rock solid release and looks great. IF you do find any bugs first check the Troubleshooting WordPress 3.5 Master List there are a few things on there to watch out for. If you’re using a shitty plugin or theme you may have some jQuery issues but hey you’re using a shitty plugin or theme sort it out!

I’ve already talked about some of the great new features and changes in WordPress 3.5 so you can read that if you want to. I guess the next big question is what next?
