UKWDA - A joke?

I was interested to find out about the UKWDA (UK Web Design Association - the Web Standards Organisation in the UK according to their site). After reading their code of conduct thought it would be good to register. FAIL!

Their website contact form doesn’t work,

jmail.Message error ‘8000ffff’

The message was undeliverable. All servers failed to receive the message

/emailform.asp, line 87

I thought I would give it some time for them to fix their issues, 2 months later still the same. How can an organisation claiming to be the Web Standards Organisation in the UK have a website that doesn’t work?

The site validates as valid HTML 4.0 running on IIS5? How long has this site been left to wallow in self-pity? No xHTML? IIS5? Come on even for someone who knows little about Windows Web servers I know the current release is IIS7!

If you represent the UKWDA please feel free to make a response to this post.

See for yourselves the stunning website from the UKWDA http://www.ukwda.org/
