Jetpack Local Development Mode

I like Jetpack. I’ve already talked about it in an article over at Wptuts+ but I was really interested to see a small addition to the latest development version. What we are finally getting is a local development mode! No need to connect to your WordPress.com account one simple line in your wp-config.php will do it.

So head over and get yourself the latest development version of Jetpack and add the following line to your wp-config.php before activating the plugin.

define('JETPACK_DEV_DEBUG', true);

Just like magic Jetpack will now let you use it for local testing without having to connect to your WordPress.com account!
